What is SPC Quarter Round?
SPC Quarter Round is a kind of decorative strip made of Stone Plastic Composite (SPC) material, mainly used in the decoration of buildings and furniture. SPC is the main component, which is usually a combination of natural limestone powder, polyvinyl chloride and some stabilizers. This material has advantages such as being waterproof, fireproof, moisture-proof and anti-corrosion.
It has a quarter-round cross-section, which is where the "quarter round" in its name comes from. Common sizes are like 2400mm in length, 28mm in width and 15mm in thickness, but there are other specifications in the market to meet different needs

Installation

The methods are as follows:

1. Preparation Work: Prepare the necessary SPC quarter round strips, glue (if adopting the pasting method), decorative nails (if adopting the nailing method), drilling tools, and other materials and tools.
2. Pasting Installation: Generally speaking, evenly apply glue on the back of the SPC quarter round strips, and then carefully paste them onto the baseboard line. Ensure accurate positioning and press firmly to make the strips fit tightly with the baseboard line.
3. Nailing Installation (Optional): If you choose to fix it with decorative nails, use drilling tools to pre-drill holes at the planned nailing positions. The size and depth of the holes should be appropriate to prevent damage to the SPC quarter round strip material. After drilling, drive the decorative nails through the strips and into the corresponding positions of the baseboard line to complete the fixation.
