Vinyl flooring is a synthetic flooring option made from polyvinyl chloride plastic (commonly known as PVC). Small pieces of colored PVC are heated and then pressed into thin layers that are adhered to form flexible sheets of vinyl that can be left as is or cut into tiles or planks. Vinyl flooring can be colored and textured to resemble a variety of materials including wood, stone, and ceramic. Vinyl is completely synthetic and thus cheaper, more durable, and easier to install.

1. Begin installing in the left corner of the room. Underlayment should be installed at the same
time as the floor.
2. Cut off the long side tongue (end and edge) of the first plank and position the cut edges
adjacent to the wall.
3. Fit planks with the cut off sides against the walls making sure to leave an expansionspace
of ¼" between the plank and the wall. Use of spacers is recommended.
4. Turn the long side of the first plank of the second row into the secured panel of the first row .
at an angle, lower into place and be sure the planks clicktogether.
5. Slide the third plank together horizontally. Slightly lift the plank and push the short side
joint down with your thumb moving from the inner corner out until you hear it click. Knock
gently on the short end click with the palm of your hand or tapping block to ensure they are
closed.
6. Connect the planks of the first two rows on the shortsides
7. Make sure the first two rows are perfectly straight and make sure the expansion space is at
least ¼ inch (6mm)
8. Continue row by row until you reach the other side of the room checking that each jointis
sufficiently locked before moving on to the next plank. Press down gently on top of each
short end joint to ensure a goodconnection.
9. To fit the last row, lay a plank on top of the previous row. With the plank against the wall,
mark a line down the length of the plank and cutaccordingly.
10. Once you have finished laying & inspecting the floor, you may install baseboards (attached to
the wall, never to the floor)
11. Undercut doorjambs where the floor meets a threshold or doorway. To make the right cut,
turn a plank upside down and place it on the floor up to the door frame. Place a handsaw flat
against the plank and cut through the frame. Remove the cut out and secure the plank on the
long side
Can I use my own carton designs?
Yes, of course. We can send the popular designs if you need.
Can you provide flooring accessories?
Yes, besides the skirting or baseboard, we can provide different kinds of underlayment such as EVA, IXPE etc.
What's your flooring warranty?
For residential vinyl flooring, we recommend 0.3 mm wear layer and the warranty is 15 years.
Do I need to pay the Unilin/ Valinge click patent fee?
If you are going to sell our products for American or European market, you must to pay the patent fee.
If your market is the other countries or buy for projects, it is no need for you to pay for it.
How can I know your flooring is consistent with your description?
Frees samples are available for your evaluation.
Before the mass production, we will send you the production details for your confirmation.
During the production, each step is strictly controlled by the QC team. the Floor Score certificates, CE certificates and SGS test reports can be sent for your reference.
Before loading, we have our own professional inspection team to do the inspection and you'll get a detailed report for this order.
